The past few years have had plenty of real estate activity and several personal adventures. The real estate market continued to be fast paced throughout most of the year with a few changes to the industry. (e.g. BC tenancy act, Bill 44 allowing density, interest rate activity). Listing inventory has built up over the year and buyers are being a bit more selective in their decision making.
On a personal level, Ken was able to fit in two international trips over the last two years (one to Turkey for a Rotary Friendship Exchange and one to Spain to hike the El Camino trail). Ken continues to support work in Ghana with various partners (e.g. Rotary Clubs, Universities, Schools, Ghana Medical Help) for over 17 years.
Ken was recently honored with the VIREB Realtor Care Award which recognizes his work with a variety of community impact organizations including Rotary, Nanaimo Child Development Centre, Nanaimo Art Gallery, Nanaimo Men’s Centre, Nanaimo Association of Community Living, Nanaimo-Ladysmith Schools Foundation, Nanaimo Youth Services Association, Leadership Vancouver Island and others. He was also one of six Realtors across Canada featured by the Canadian Real Estate Association for community involvement.
